Pause DSR Processing

In emergency situations, you may want to pause DSR processing for one or more of the data systems included in the DSR processing. Some situations in which you may want to pause DSR processing:

  • There is a data breach for one or more of your connected data systems
  • You are experience performance issues on that data system due to a high load of requests
  • You accidentally uploaded DSRs that you did not intend to process

To pause DSR processing for a single data system.

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page and select your data system.
  2. Navigate to the "DSR Automation" tab on the integration.
  3. Toggle on "DSR Processing Paused?"

Once the data system is paused, if you go to the DSR Automation -> Incoming Requests page and select a DSR that was processing your data system, you will see the following status rendered if the job had not yet been completed and is actively paused for further processing:

Shows the "Integration Paused" status for the data system on the "Integrations" tab of a DSR.
Shows the "Integration Paused" status for the specific data system page when you click on the paused data system from the "Integrations" tab of a DSR.

If you need to pause all DSR processing across every active data system, you can do so under your global organization Administration Settings.

This will render a banner message on all pages in your account:

Note: pausing all integration processing will also pause your data discovery and classification plugins. It will NOT pause the heartbeat check that Transcend sends to these integrations to test if they are still alive, and refresh access tokens. This is done to ensure refresh tokens are exchanged before they expire and require you to re-authenticate the integration.
